Some days I think I'm doing well.
Some days I cry for hours because we all die too young and every one of us is trapped somehow.
Some days I think I didn't do enough.
Some days I wonder if this is how she would've lived.
Some days I feel like I'm leading someone else's life entirely.
I haven't found it yet, that special place that I'm meant to be in. When I do get there, I hope there'll be someone waiting for me.

Today, my father informed me of the various ways to exclaim, "Oh, hell no!" He has been taught by the masters, known as the Black People At Work, and has now passed the information down to me.
Dad: Well, there's the standard: "Oh, HAIL no!"
Dad: Or you can exaggerate it: "Oh, HHHHHHAIL no!"
Dad: Or you can break the monotony and reverse it: "Oh, hail NO!"
In turn, I described to him the many situations in which it is appropriate to declare, "Heck no at all!"
